Melissa Rippy founded her agency with a clear mission in mind: to help her clients and their families protect what matters most.
With an extensive background as an insurance claims adjuster, Melissa saw countless clients encounter unfortunate and unexpected situations that would have benefited from better coverage. In 2013, Melissa founded the Rippy Agency to help individuals and families manage daily risk.
Together with her team, Melissa and her agents combine their expertise, dedication, and compassion to continually establish a reputation of excellence as an insurance agency in the Brighton, Colorado area.

I moved to Colorado on Super Bowl Sunday in 1999 and have loved it here ever since. I’ve been in the insurance industry for over 20 years and opened the agency in 2013. I’m a supporter of the Boys & Girls Club, a volunteer and mentor with Junior Achievement, and have served on the boards of the 27J Education Foundation, Brighton Legacy Foundation, and Brighton Shares the Harvest.

I was born and raised in Mexico, but love being able to call Colorado my home. I have been in the insurance industry since 2012, and my favorite part is building relationships with my clients. I love interacting with people and helping them select the coverage that’s right for them.

We Care About the City of Brighton
Community involvement is at the heart of the Melissa Rippy Agency. By giving back, we continue to strengthen our relationships with the people of Brighton and serve to better our city as a whole.
Each year, the Melissa Rippy Agency honors a Brighton High School Senior with a $1,000 scholarship to further their education, while providing safe driving information to high school students and at local community events, encouraging drivers to “X the Text” and not text and drive.
Our Love for Our Community Runs Deep
In memory of her dad, Melissa also co-founded Ripbeams, a nonprofit which collects handmade beanies and gives them to adults and children with leukemia. Ripbeams has donated over 11,000 beanies and counting since 2018.
